The guardians of excellent craftsmanship, a unique knowledge of materials and a great tradition of innovation and creativity, the 120 craftsmen of the Manufacture nationale de Sèvres run the 27 workshops and as many historical trades in manufacturing (sculpting, turning or moulding) and decoration (decorating, painting and gilding).
They all work in close collaboration with the laboratory and applied research department, as well as with the heritage and collections department, which preserves almost all the archives and models that have made the Sèvres legend.
