Tasse en porcelaine tendre tournée créée en 1933 par Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann, associée à un décor spécialement imaginé par l'artiste Annabelle d'Huart en 2005 en hommage à ce dernier.
Objets d'art réalisés entièrement à la main par nos artisans au sein des ateliers de la Manufacture. Des nuances et variations peuvent apparaître d’une pièce à l’autre, les rendant chacune presque unique.
After studying drawing at the Ecole Camondo in Paris, art history in Florence and photography in New York, Annabelle d'Huart, born in Paris in 1952, spent 10 years at the Taller de Arquitectura in Barcelona. Her work involves a wide range of materials: jewellery, bronzes, marouflages and paintings, in which the artist offers the viewer "endless navigation" through the variation of modular elements. For the Manufacture, the artist created 6 Atlantide decors on 6 Uni service shapes, inspired by her first exhibition in Paris in 1985. She then created a decorated table centrepiece and, in 2004/2005, the designs for the Litron tea and coffee sets and the Ruhlmann cup.
The handleless Hommage à Ruhlmann cup has a flared rim and stands on a cylindrical foot. The refined decoration in gold, grey and turquoise blue is expressed in lines reminiscent of the graphic design of the "épure" drawings, and is annotated in several places. The cup and saucer are turned.
