Artefact pourer
Aldo Bakker
Created by the Dutch designer Aldo Bakker for the Manufacture de Sèvres in 2012, the Artefact pourer goes beyond function and recalls the fluidity of the still-liquid porcelain paste with its slender silhouette. Signature and marks on the bottom.
The work is entirely handmade by our craftsmen in the workshops of the Manufacture. Nuances and variations may appear from one piece to another, making each one almost unique.
Revealed at the 2013 edition of the Design Parade festival at the Villa Noailles ("Avec retenue, To be contained"), the collection of works created by Aldo Bakker, in collaboration with the craftsmen of the Manufacture de Sèvres, embodies all the rigour of his research on the relationship between form and function, and was a unique opportunity to push the limits of our materials and know-how.
