Ormoy vase in pink
Small ball vase with paste-on-paste decoration, applied by insufflation in shades of white on coloured enamel. Sèvres marks under the foot.
An objet d'art made entirely by hand by our craftsmen in the workshops of the Manufacture. Nuances and variations may appear from one piece to another, making each one almost unique.
The shape of the Ormoy vase was designed in 1886-1887 by George Chéret, a sculptor at the Manufacture de Sèvres and deputy art director from 1886 to 1887.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the vases created at the Manufacture de Sèvres bore the names of cities, then rivers from 1918 to 1920. From 1923 onwards, they were named after their creator.
