Fabrice Hyber dinner plate
Dinner plate from the Diane service with colourful decoration created in 2007 by the artist Fabrice Hyber for the Manufacture de Sèvres. 24-carat gold thread on the heel. Artist's signature and Sèvres marks under the heel.
An objet d'art made entirely by hand by our craftsmen in the workshops of the Manufacture. Nuances and variations may appear from one piece to the next, making each one almost unique.
In 2007, the Manufacture de Sèvres invited Fabrice Hyber, one of the most striking contemporary artists on the French scene, to create a set of three plate designs, a complete service of which is part of the collection of the French Ministry of Culture. This collaboration also gave rise to his famous Homme de Bessines, in green-glazed soft-paste porcelain.
In 2012, he was invited by the Institut Pasteur to create the monumental porcelain fresco Sans Gêne, produced at the Manufacture. Between 2015 and spring 2016, Fabrice Hyber was invited to paint a series of vases, some of them monumental, such as the one by Pierre Charpin.
