Small sculpture in soft porcelain biscuit created by Marcel Derny in the 1950s for the Manufacture de Sèvres. Sèvres marks at the bottom.

The sculpture is entirely handmade by our craftsmen in the workshops of the Manufacture. Shades and variations may appear from one piece to another, making each one almost unique.

All orders are carefully packaged and shipped in a blue and gold Sèvres case.

The bear is a recurring figure in the work of Marcel Derny. Trained at the Sèvres Manufacture, he remains one of the most famous sculptors of the first half of the 20th century, particularly for his work in the representation of animals.

His creative and unique style, now internationally recognised, is part of the long history of animal sculpture in Sèvres.
