Jean-Baptiste Fastrez
Jean-Baptiste Fastrez is a French designer born in 1984. A graduate of ENSCI–Les Ateliers, where he received the jury’s commendation in 2010, he went on to work for three years alongside Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. He established his own studio in 2011.
Fastrez has collaborated with numerous brands. He was awarded the Grand Prix du Jury at the Design Parade in 2011 and subsequently undertook a residency at the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres, where he created the Grigris.
His work has been shown in thematic exhibitions at the VIA in Paris, the Mudac in Lausanne, the Grand-Hornu in Belgium, and the Seoul Museum of Art.
